Today lasted FOREVER! The doctor called about 3:45. He couldn't just say that it was great, no sign of cancer. He had to throw in that he didn't get too many cells in the sample. Pooh on him! I'll take the clean sample for what it is...cancerfree! So now we keep an eye on it and recheck it in 6mos. Carrie's not so keen on the idea of another biopsy but I'm sure she'll get over it.
Thanks everyone for your well wishes and prayers, they mean a lot!

Great news! |

 | I am thrilled to hear that your daughter continues to be cancer free! I hope and pray that she remains that way.
I just read the comment you left me 6 weeks ago. I didn't understand how the comments worked and didn't realize I had any, but I did wonder why I kept getting emails saying that I had a new message when my inbox was empty.
Anyway, I am feeling really good. This treatment is working, and although it's inconvenient, it's worth it. I am blessed to have good health insurance because it's really expensive. I am doing PT and regaining my muscle strength. I am just praying that I continue to respond well to the IVIG treatment as I continue tapering down the prednisone. Thanks for thinking of me and asking! |

I am so glad that it mostly looks good. |

 | I know there will be a nagging until you re-test, but I agree that a preliminary "clean" dx is nothing to be sneezed at. Big (((HUGS))) and sighs of relief with you. |
