Trying to patiently wait for Tuesday

But I sure do wish it would hurry up and get here! Then again I kinda hope it never comes. Tuesday is the day we're suppose to get the results of Carrie's thyroid nodule biopsy. The doctor felt it on Thursday at her regular TODAY (type 2 diabetes) study appt. We did an ultrasound that confirmed it and then on Fri he did a fine needle aspiration biopsy on it..
The girl was a champ! Laying there with tears running down her face. I knew she wanted to stop but she was holding out for as many samples as the dr could get like I asked her to. (so she wouldn't have to redo the biopsy again) I was holding onto her arm so tight I think I might've bruised it.
So now we hurry up and wait. Carrie is thankfully busy this weekend at a youth girls' retreat at church. Me, I'm trying to give it over to God. To not be anxious. To not let all her increased risk factors play over and over in my mind.

 | I have a thyroid nodule or two too, though without Carries's history. Poor litle thing having to go through that. Did she get local anaesthetic for it? I did at my last one and it made such a difference.
Praying and hoping for good results!
