I'm a bit lost

It's nice to be back here. I'm feeling a bit lost at the moment though. I've lost my "lifeline"....the cord to my laptop died. But have no fear, another should be on it's way soon (I hope!)
It's amazing how much I rely on that cord. Need to find something out, see how my friends are doing, let some thoughts out....just open my laptop and click a button...all from the comfort of my cozy couch. But my bookmarks, usernames and passwords are all trapped inside that little black machine. Yeah, I could sit on the "kids' computer" and try to figure things out and do it manually, but that would take time and energy. So for now I pick and choose where I go.
I've been thinking for a while that I need a master list of important sites, usernames and passwords. Not for myself but incase I can't personally get to the computer and do it. (heaven forbid) I guess I should take this as a nudge in that direction. It's disconcerting to not have total access to everything I need. I couldn't image how lost Tom would be if I couldn't be here to access things.
